2327 Cadaver Photo Illustration Project

Richard Gatt and Paulina Ross, two BIOL2327 Instructor Experience in Human Anatomy students, initiated a project photographing cadavers in the anatomy labs for the SLCC Biology Dept. This project began in the Fall of 2013 and continued until the end of the Summer, of 2014. The main goal of the project was to photograph various anatomical regions and create a set of images that anatomy students can study to enhance their exposure to the cadavers in the anatomy labs. Images are periodically updated and added to the site. Early on, Richard and Paulina received a grant from HAPS (Human Anatomy & Physiology Society) and were invited to present the project at the 2013 HAPS conference, in Jacksonville, FL. Paulina and Richard also won first-place awards for the project at the SLCC 2013 Science Symposium. The following link will play a video that was presented at the convention: 2327 Human Prosections Project. This undertaking illustrates that any BIOL2327 student has the opportunity to create an outstanding project and receive recognition for their achievements. Any student who is interested should enroll in the BIOL2327 Instructor Experience in Human Anatomy course if you have or will earn a grade of B+ or better in BIOL2320 Human Anatomy.
